to the Nebraska Chapter of International Association of Rehabilitation

| It
is our goal to make a difference in the lives of those
we touch in our practice, our communities, our state and at
the National level. We are a group of professionals dedicated
to providing guidance to those who have been disabled and must
seek a change of direction in their lives. We explore their
vocational options and, in some way, try to help them restore
their lives and a new direction for their future. |

| We
are excited to look at the possibilities of the future, rather
than remain in the past and what "might have been".
We encourage positive change and exploration as opposed to remaining
entrenched in the grip of negative history. |

| The
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor is an ethical and educated
professional individual. It is exciting to understand our responsibility
in the reconstruction and redirection of disrupted lives. It
is important to be proud of our growth, involvement and the
change that can be implemented as a result of our profession. |
